That is because your incentive was always for the purpose of reviving her, from the beginning. That is from a future where you are capable of carrying out your role and bringing Angel back to the yet living.

As it stood, I could not tell you this so early in the project. You may have not noticed this about yourself, but you are quite volatile, and I was afraid you may divulge the constraints of your role as a means of asserting dominance.
